Geolica CH-625/Nudy Grey Review

Geolica Philippines will now be my only trusted and go-to brand of contact lenses... like forever...

Because they have the best customer service ever (aside from the fact that the lenses are safe and high quality)...

And yes that rhymed...

Okayyy enough with poetic phrases, I am now just going to express how happy I am to have received a free pair of contact lenses from Geo awhile back! They had a promo called Memories of 2013 which called on customers to send photos of receipts of purchases of Geo contact lenses back in 2013. Sending a receipt would then warrant the sender a present.

Initially I thought that they were just going to send lens cleaner or wipes or something, but to my surprise, after turning in a photo of my receipt they told me that I'd be getting a new pair of contact lenses free of charge, and with free shipping, too!  And the best part was that the lenses were not their leftover or unsold lenses but lenses of my choice! WOW, very hospitality, much customer service (if doge were to describe them)! Here's a screenshot of the PM they sent me...

I had two choices, one was from their upcoming HoliCat collection and the other was CH-625 or Nudy Grey. I was told that they could not gift me with a pair from the new collection yet so they were sending in Nudy Grey instead. I was actually surprised that they were even the ones apologizing for not being able to send this certain pair of lenses when as it is I was already very grateful to be getting a new pair of free lenses without even doing anything substantial!

A few days after sending in my choice, the lenses were already shipped to our house! They're fast workers, I must say...

This is how the box looks like, together with the contents. I was especially happy about this event because the last time I bought lenses, I was intent on getting this one but Vision Express at that time didn't have stocks of this. It was my first time to buy lenses and I was immediately in awe by the look of this particular pair on the model's eyes...

I was already planning to buy this pair this year even before the promo happened so thankfully, I felt lazy to go shopping and I was able to participate in this promo instead!

I think that in general it is more greyish white than greyish black in terms of the overall color when compared to my other grey lenses as you will see here... The rim is also very thin, and the color not as black as the rim of my other grey circle lenses...

Up close this is how it looks like in the jar...

In general I still have a hard time putting lenses on as I am relatively new to this, but I think I've gotten a bit better compared to when I did this for the first time (?)

Up close this is how it looks like... In general I think that people with darker eye colors will fare better with this pair of lenses because people with too light of an eye color will have super light colored looking eyes after wearing this...

Comfort wise I had no problems with keeping up with this pair, and that my dry eyes problems are from me myself and not the lenses. In general I can't wear lenses for long periods because of my dry eyes so I didn't wear this for more than four hours.

And this is how it looks on me after applying a full face of makeup... I love how it gives my overall look a boost without looking that obvious that it's a pair of circle lenses! I think I can wear this pair even for more natural looks...

And no I did not photoshop these photos, I simply changed the lighting and kaboom the blemishes no longer look apparent on the photos... A lot of people don't believe photogs when they say they didn't edit the beauty photos of X or Y but I honestly do believe them because I myself know that even my super blackhead and whitehead filled face can look flawless with the right kind of lighting and camera angle.

What can you say about this pair of circle lenses? Do tell me in the comments box!!!
