Coffee and Milk Scrub

Having coffee in the morning is of course a great thing. And having brewed coffee, even better. But what happens to the coffee grounds afterwards? Usually, it goes to the waste, right? So for this post I'm going to show how you can make another use for your used coffee grounds by making a face scrub. If you're more interested on how to make a body scrub or a full fledged face mask, you can check my other coffee-related post here.

So you simply need milk and used coffee grounds...

Take a tablespoon of coffee grounds and put it in your container. This will serve as the scrub or the exfoliant, to remove the dead skin and all.

Next, add a teaspoon of milk. This is to nourish the skin and formula wise, to make the scrub have a pasty consistency.

And mix.

You can opt to add 1/4 teaspoon of almond oil if you please, but if you dom't have it at home you can skip this step.

Mix it into the paste...

And you can now use the scrub on your face! Just be sure to work above the sink because there's bound to be a lot of grounds that will spill in the immediate area. Simply take globs of it and massage well.

Once you're done, simply wash the scrub off with warm water, apply your favorite toner and moisturize.

Feel free to try this out one day!
