Ever Bilena Matte Nudes Lipstick (Caramello) Review, Swatch

Ever Bilena Matte Nudes Lipstick Collection
is Ever Bilena's foray to the unexplored, with a release dominated by grey undertones. Most other brands play it safe with mauve base tones, but they really took a risk with this one, and it paid off. The resulting collection is a sophisticated, unique 6-shade collection, of which each shade is sure to have a permanent spot in any buyer's makeup collection. They were also able to come up with a lipstick that had the matte appearance of a liquid lipstick, but still with the flexibility and comfort of a lipstick. This review is for the shade Caramello

Overall Feedback:
This is definitely the collection that is all about exceeding expectations. With each lipstick at Php165, it's surprising that despite the finish being truly matte, it's comfortable to wear. The shade selection is impeccable, as there are lots of grey and yellow-based shades that most other brands are not offering. In general, too, I really like how sophisticated the shades look that color-wise, I can easily pass off as someone wearing something exponentially more expensive.

Color payoff is also amazing as it takes little effort to make the colors appear opaquely. It's thin and lightweight, and though it's a little bit warm on the lips, there's no annoying sticky feel. Despite the finish being matte, it doesn't feel weirdly powdery on the lips either. This will work even on people with dry lips as the texture is comfortable and the texture is soft enough to really cover each nook and crack.

For those who are very sensitive about fragrances, this collection really does have a waxy smell to the lippies. Some might actually also describe the texture as waxy, too. But I think it's the waxiness to it that makes it last on the lips quite well and not get off too easily after eating... It's both a good and a bad thing, if you ask me.

Overall, for Php165, these lipsticks are so beautiful and comfortable that I honestly have no idea how they were able to make the price that low. Highly recommended lipsticks for those who are looking for products that epitomize what 'value for money' means.
