Overall Feedback:
EB Advance Lip Define Matte Matic Lipstick is the ideal range for those who want to experiment with buff and grey toned nudes and bricks that are foolproof for Filipina skin tones. Like other Ever Bilena releases, this goes on thinly and has a truly sophisticated matte finish.

But compared to other Ever Bilena releases, this is especially waxy. I have already noted this in other reviews that the Ever Bilena group makes their matte releases with a waxy approach so as to not make it too powdery and heavy on the lips. As it's very waxy already, it's not as powdery as other Ever Bilena group releases. In general, this has a lightweight feel without a hot or sticky feeling.

It doesn't dry and set per se, like a liquid lipstick, but it goes on thinly enough that relative to other lipsticks, this moves around quite sparingly. This doesn't move and transfer onto everything like crazy, but since the shades are very buff and greyish, it's obvious when it does start fading. I think it's because our lips are pinkish by default, so when we're wearing pinks and reds, there isn't a big contrast when there's some fading. But since these shades are a stark contrast from our natural lip color, faded areas are more likely to be apparent. Against oily food, one will need to retouch throughout the day.

EB Advance Lip Define Lipsticks are mostly composed of buffs and taupes, while EB Advance Absolute Matte Lipstick tackles reds and bricks, so within the EB Advance brand, they have already tackled a lot of unique shades. And then for those looking for shades of these color families but want them lighter, I recommend Ever Bilena Matte Nudes. EB Advance Lip Define Lipsticks are very pigmented as these can really cover over the natural color of the wearer's lips and create an entire new look and aura. The color payoff is quite accurate, as what you see on the packaging and on the product is what translates onto your lips.

Overall, at Php180 for 2.5g, this is priced just right relative to most competitor products of similar weights. But what I like is that this collection tackles a lot of the more unique shades that only pricey indie brands would tackle, so it's a great way for the general public to play around with these color families without spending a fortune. I like the practical features with the color matching packaging, and I appreciate the wide array of shades, so there's a lot to love about this collection.
