My Current Glass Skin Skincare Routine |
Sharing my glass skin skincare routine for July 2020! Welcome to another #SkinCareSundays installment!
I have been asking y'all about what content you wish to see from me more, and a lot of the feedback was about skincare videos and Japan videos. I still have quite a hefty color makeup backlog, which is why I am just slowly updating the blog through my #SkinCareSundays segment. I'll be adding updates like these so that I can update y'all on what products I am using, which ones I am changing over time, and which ones I am repurchasing or maintaining.
Y'all can check it out on YouTube!
So here are the products I am using:
Celeteque Acne Cleansing Gel
Available at Lazada.
I have used most of this up, and I like that it's gentle on the skin unlike other acne-targeted products which tend to be too harsh. It's a gel that lathers well, and lather matters to me a lot when I use a facial wash as I feel that that's the only way to get a real good clean.

NOH Skin Conditioner H
Bought in Don Quijote Japan.
I bought this mistakenly thinking that it was my HG Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner! I was rush shopping at Don Quijote and thought that this was my HG one as the packaging looked sooooo similar and literally was a copycat of the original one. This is a Don Quijote produced one, and while I haven't had any complaints using this, I'm still going to go back to my HG Naturie one once I use this up. ICYMI, I use skin conditioner right after cleanser in order to prep the skin to absorb everything that follows better.

Miccosmo White Label Premium Placenta Essence
Available at Amazon.
I got this a while back, and it ranked pretty well at the Cosme rankings for a time, so I was curious. I have already used up most of this bottle, and I do feel that it somehow helps to give a glow, but it wasn't something that I saw immediately. I had already been using this since May, so there's some time that has elapsed.

innisfree Green Tea Balancing Skin
Available at Amazon and StyleKorean.
As I've mentioned in the video, it was with Innisfree's Green Tea line that I really start to see my skin becoming more refined. I have used up several facial foams and facial creams from this line already, and I'm currently using the balancing skin. If you want your skin to really improve in texture, I highly recommend this range. However, even though I have been using this range almost continuously for quite some time now, I don't think I have other products from this line stocked up (I'll check again but yeah I don't think I have anything stocked), so I'll be using other innisfree goodies when I use this up.

Etude House Wonder Pore Daily Cotton Pads
Freebie with a toner purchase.
These are the cotton pads I use to apply my Miccosmo essence and my Innisfree balancing skin. Nothing too groundbreaking, but it works.

Mediheal Mask Sheets
Available at Lazada.
As I mentioned in the video, I still have some mask singles which I am using up before I proceed to use my large pack Japanese mask sheets. If I can, I usually buy mask sheets in large packs of 7-10 sheets of like 30 sheets already so that it's not so harmful to the environment. I use masks a lot and feel bad that I generate one sachet almost every night now. With larger packs, at least I only have to throw out the pack after many uses.
I have used Mediheal masks quite a lot, and I like them in general. The NMF one is not groundbreaking, but it helps to maintain skin moisture. I like the Tea Tree one when my skin has blemishes I'd like to resolve.

Althea and Leaders Mask Sheets
Available at Althea.
These are also part of the singles I am currently using up. I like Althea fruit masks in general because they're lightweight, smell good, and hydrate the skin quite well. As for Leaders, most masks of their brand do help to give a glow, so I always also like to use Leaders masks.

Kiehl's Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution
This is a new item in my routine, and this is replacing the SK-II Dark Spot Solution that I had just used up. This has been a highly raved about serum, and thus far, for my skin to not have any signs of worsening since stopping SK-II, this is also more or less at the same level. This is a general solution to help in evening out the skin tone, but I think that this is actually more geared towards crystal clear skin.

Miccosmo White Label Premium Placenta Cream
Available at Amazon.
This is also something I got alongside the essence, and also for the same reasons. At first, I also didn't notice much of a difference, but over time, I felt that this cream was helping me to have dewy and bouncy skin. The only hard part is that since this is not a virally popular product overseas, it's not very easy to find, unlike other J-beauty items that have so many resellers. I'd buy this again if I see this again.

SANA Hadanomy Collagen Mist
This is miraculous. I have been using this mist for a year already, and I have only used up half. I have been using this mist every single day and I thought I'd use up one whole bottle in 4-6 months, but here we are today and it's still there! "Hadanomy" literally translates as "skin drink" in English, and indeed, it really does such a good job in quenching the skin's thirst. Whenever I forget to use this, I will remember it sometime later in the evening as my skin doesn't feel as hydrated as it should. I have yet to use this as a primer for makeup and I have high hopes it will also do well in that aspect.
