Avène PhysioLift Precision Wrinkle Filler Review

Avène PhysioLift Precision Wrinkle Filler is a unique product designed to deliver potent anti-aging effects to targeted deep furrows and wrinkles that need filling up. This wrinkle filler aims to visibly correct the most pronounced wrinkles and to fill the deepest furrows. This is enriched with Ascofilline (anti-aging active), Hyaluronic Acid Mono-Oligomers (to replump the skin) and Retinaldehyde (dermatological anti-aging active). Of course, like all other Avène products, this is also full of all the goodness of Avène Spring Water.

Packaging and Scent: This comes in a unique pen-type packaging with a pointed applicator. It works a lot like a pen in the sense that you press on the spring-loaded rear silver button in order for the product to come out of the tip. The silver button can be twisted to lock it to prevent the product from accidentally getting squeezed out. This also comes with Avène's uber hygienic packaging as you actually cannot even see any hole on the tip! You only know there's a hole because product does come out when you dispense it. This has been going on with Avène for quite some time now wherein they have been making super hygienic packaging that doesn't allow you to put any excess product back. This has a faint carrot scent, but when I checked, there is no fragrance listed in the ingredients. So I guess the scent is really just the way the ingredients smell like together and that it was not made to smell like carrots on purpose.

Product Texture: This has a very thick and balmy texture. It's the perfect texture for a product touted as a topical filler, as it doesn't move around so much, which I think is integral for being able to really focus the active ingredients on the trouble areas. If t spreads too thinly and spreads around too easily, then it'd be too thin and 'dilute' and not be able to deliver the desired efficacy on the target area. This also feels hydrating like other Avène PhysioLift products.

Hydration vs. Oil: Hmmm... I'd say N/A for this part as I would just apply this on the smile lines as well as on textured acne scars I had to fill and target them. This goes on top of plenty of other products already. It's like the feeling of when you apply acne cream on the select zits wherein you don't really 'feel' the product as it's just on select target areas. I do feel that this also adds oil to the skin in the same way other PhysioLift products do, aside from intense hydration, but since this is applied to such a small area in general, I don't want to speak with strong feedback about this part.

Skin Texture Refinement: I really love how this helps to calm down and de-puff and fill up textured acne scars. I generally have this jaw structure that doesn't overwork my smile lines as much as other people, so I can't give feedback on that part. But I do feel that with how it's de-puffing and filling textured scars, it really does do its job in its promise of filling deep furrows.

Radiance Boost: This is another N/A part as it's applied on such a small area. But in general, after trying out the other items in Avène's PhysioLift range, I can give a smart guess that this also doesn't give a glow as the other products in the collection do not give a glow.

Value For Money: I do not have any information on the pricing of this, but the rough estimate I've seen online is Php2000 for 15mL, which I think fits well as it's priced similarly to other PhysioLift products. As it's a unique product, and as so little product is needed for target areas each time, this is going to be a very useful addition to anyone who wants to target any deep furrows.

Overall Feedback: I haven't seen plenty of topical fillers in the market, which is why I feel that this is a special item that definitely will serve a great purpose for everyone. It's pricey, but I feel that since it's very unique and is also effective, it's worth it. There are many general anti-aging products in the market, but usually, the promise is to lift the skin. I find this unique with its promise to specifically fill in the deep furrows, because if you kind of think of it, lifting is not going to be fruitful if the skin is till full of deep wrinkles. In the entire PhysioLift range, I highly recommend this one.
