CanMake Stay-On Balm Rouge (01-Rosier Rose) Review

Hi everyone! So here I am again with a CanMake related post! Today I shall be doing a review on their Stay-on Balm Rouge. As the title implies, this shade I have is in 01 or in Rosier Rose.

So I would not call this product a lipstick but rather a colored lip balm. For one, it's because the product looks like a lip balm in terms of packaging and appearance, and texture wise, it's a bit too thick to be called a lipstick.

CanMake Gokubuto Mascara Review

It's been a long time since I last encountered a mascara this volumizing! Today I am going to talk about CanMake's Gokubuto Mascara.

Basically this is one of their flagship products if eyelashes are concerned. They promise to give an extreme volume and curl boost and a finish that's waterproof and only removable by oil. Another selling point that they are promoting is that the wand's shape will help for maximum volume.

Essential Nuance Airy Ultra Honey Hair Mask Review (Holy Grail Product)

This is definitely another holy grail product of mine. Essential, you did it again. Most of you have just seen my review a few days ago on their Nuance Airy shampoo and conditioner, but today I'm going to talk more about their Ultra Honey Hair mask in more detail.

Essential Nuance Airy Shampoo and Conditioner Review (Holy Grail Product)

Before this blog entry you may have already seen this baby in my 2013 beauty favorites post but that time, I just made a quick description of this product. Today I am now going to elaborate further on why I love Essential haircare so much.

In a nutshell, Essential is a haircare brand made by Kao Corporation. Under the company's belt are other big brands like Jergens, Biore, Asience, liese, Laurier and Curel. Asience is their more matured haircare line and Essential is their teenage/young lady haircare line. Under the brand Essential, they have shampoos and conditioners in three variants as I type this (Nuance Airy, Rich Premier, Purely Smooth). And for both Nuance Airy and Rich Premier they sell spin off hair masks, leave on hair treatment milk and morning hair health spray (no it's not the hairspray for styling).

Today's review is on Nuance Airy's shampoo and conditioner set.

I cannot tell you how much value for money this product gives. I bought this set in Hong Kong for 90 HKD (495 pesos), as in this set of 500 mL shampoo, 500 mL conditioner and a baby sized hair treatment milk that will last a short haired girl like me a month. The shampoo and conditioner set, if you only bathe once a day and in each bath you will religiously use just one pump (no more and no less), will last approximately five and a half to six months. I have yet to find a locally sold haircare brand that can actually pack as much value for my 500 peso bill.

What made me further shocked was I was even able to save more money when I bought a newer set in Taiwan because the set cost only 210 NT (Php 315)! At this point there is no longer any haircare brand I know of in the Philippines that can beat this price for this size of haircare.

Jewelry Box Reorganization!!!

My jewelry box is a hot mess. I no longer need to elaborate on how the earrings are all mixed up, the necklaces all tangled up and basically it takes me 15 minutes sometimes just to find the accessory I want!

After some tidying up, this is my reorganized drawer! Woo hoo!

Etude House Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base (Mint Choux #01) Review

I am thankful I resisted the urge to buy this product last year. Very thankful indeed. Because when Etude House first started Baby Choux Base, the products were put in jars. I have always had fears of items in jars because being the hygiene junkie I am I have always viewed jar packaging as unhygienic because you'd repeatedly dip your hands (which may have germs) in them. You can go and use spoons or spreaders, but still you'd end up dipping germ-filled items into the product, which can lead to possible skin infections or faster spoilage of the product.

So I am just sooooo happy that their face primer now comes in tube! IN TUUUUUBE!!!!

Makeup Reorganization!!! + Makeup Storage Tips

Before and Happily Ever After!!! Can you spot your favorite makeup item?

I reorganized my makeup drawers! Woo hoo!
This is because
1.) My makeup collection has been increasing in the past days given that I have been investing in more stuff that I have to make space for new items...
2.) The makeup storage system I used to have is now inefficient given that I now have to have more specialized or more branched out organization systems.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Review (Dim Infusion)

This is one of those joining the bandwagon kind of purchases as of late... But heck, I'm not even angry!  Most of you must have heard that it was only very recently that Sephora was able to restock their Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blushes. And I think that's probably because the first time around a ot of Pinay beauty resellers hoarded the stuff; I mean I just got this two days ago, just almost at the same time as many of the girls in the US are getting these items!

Overall, I'm really satisfied with this purchase and would definitely want to buy the other shades of this blush.

And just a quick mention as well, I got this item from Make Up Haul PH, a resller on instagram. Follow them at @makeuphaul_ph. I cannot explain how happy I just am with their services, as in they already are beyond superb, but this past week's encounters with horrible (horrible x1000) sellers I had just made them even stand out more. They reply within 10 minutes of my text (in normal waking hours though, please don't expect your reseller to answer an inquiry at 3A.M. They have lives, too.) . The replies are often courteous, friendly, and accommodating. When I asked about this blush, I already had asked them about another item which happened to be out of stock. They even remembered to update me that the said item was back! I mean how many sellers actually keep track and respond to their customers' previous inquiries?

Too Faced Glamour To Go Spun Sugar Edition Review and Swatches

It was really sweet of  family friend to have given me this makeup set for no apparent reason (not my birthday nor Christmas) and I really appreciate how compact this baby is! This is the kind of thing that you can definitely bring for travel as it's very compact and it's already very complete-- has eight eyeshadows, a lip gloss, a highlighter and a bronzer...
