New from the brand that cares! We all know Dove as the brand that’s affordable, easy to access, and with products that really define what TLC is. The brand is known for having very gentle and nourishing products that work even on the most sensitive skin. This time around, Dove has released their Nourishing Secrets collection. This collection is all about combining Dove’s 1/4 moisturizer cream technology with the nourishing plants and ingredients women from around the world use for self-care.
They sent the products in a lovely box, together with (not pictured) an eye mask, hair towel, and soy candle. This box has a cover, so it’s sealed shut until you slide it open. The moment you open it, it smells like a botanical garden!! Some people get reminded of spas or wellness centers when they smell these products.
If you are actually thinking of a gift for someone, there is actually an existing gift set like this on Lazada for Php479! The only differences are that the box is different, and the deodorant is roll on instead of spray.

They have Nourishing Secrets Hair Boost Ritual shampoo and conditioner (available at Lazada). This variant is enriched with white tea and cone flower. North Americans were known to soak cone flower in water and use the resulting solution to strengthen their hair and to curb hair fall. As for white tea, it’s there to boost hair health. The shampoo is noticeably sooo rich in lather! Even versus other Dove shampoos, there is something so luxurious about the foam from this shampoo. The conditioner, on the other hand, is a lot like Dove Oxygen & Nourishment in texture and leans toward the airy side.

For the body, Dove released this Nourishing Secrets Healthy Glow deodorant (Php195 for 150mL). This has rice water in it to gently smoothen skin, and afaik about rice water, it helps to tone skin and make it supple. This deo has a lotus flower scent, as it has lotus flower extract to purify skin. Most importantly, though, these extracts are additions to the already existing 1/4 moisturizer formulation Dove is already known for. So you can count on this deo for up to 48 hours protection without damaging underarm skin.

For those who are looking for something new with Dove’s OG HG beauty bars, they also released beauty bars for this collection. These Nourishing Secrets Glowing Ritual beauty bars (Php145 for 3 pcs of 100g bars) have lotus and lily scent. As with all other Dove beauty bars, this has 1/4 moisturizing cream to leave skin smooth and soft, unlike traditional bar soaps which end up being so harshly drying.

And for lavender lovers, rejoice! I myself have found myself sniffing the lavender range from Dove Nourishing Secrets whenever I’m at the mall. The Relaxing Ritual lavender body wash is a 10 for me as it smells so luxurious, and the lavender smells authentic. I am such a fan of lavender themed products that these babies are on my to-buy-next list once I use up the products I have.
