L’Oréal Paris Infallible Paints Mattes are the best liquid lipsticks for those who are looking for clay and ochre based nudes. 

The texture is mousse once wet, and then it dries and sets. It’s ultra matte once it sets, and dries without any feeling of stickiness. However, it’s too dry that it flakes off so easily. In terms of lasting power, even if one doesn’t do anything, just speaking or the usual motions of the mouth already make the product flake off. If one is to eat or drink, one will really need to retouch more often. If one smacks one’s lips, it’ll flake off easily. 

The texture is lightweight, and has no hot feeling on the lips, which helps to make it comfortable compared to other liquid lipsticks. However, one will really need to exert conscious effort to not smack the lips too much lest it’ll flake off too easily, or to check up on it quite often. 

The color payoff and pigmentation are amazing. It really takes one swipe to really make it so opaque and to cancel out the natural colors of the lips. The shade selection is also amazing as the shades are sophisticated and unique. 

However, to sum it all up, this is the kind of collection that one is going to buy because the shades are really so pretty and unique, and that it’s truly matte. But in terms of texture, it’s difficult to keep up with.
