Korean skincare brand BRTC entered the Philippine market late last year, and indeed there's a lot to explore about the brand! BRTC actually stands for Bio Remedies Therapeutic Cosmetics and the brand name in itself already gives quite a good introduction. BRTC is all about creating solutions to various skin troubles, acquiring patents for these solutions, and furthering scientific research in dermatological pursuits. While many K-Beauty brands aim to be cute and novel to attract customers, BRTC's aim is to create products that are dermatologically tested and approved, with custom solutions to each particular skin issue. Let's check out some of their holy grail bestsellers!

BRTC Gel Vitalizer (Php1411 for 60mL) is the ultimate solution for dehydrated skin. Unfortunately, a lot of us do suffer from dehydrated skin (to be distinguished from dry skin) due to the weather. But we all want lightweight formulations that won't make the effects of the hot weather any worse. This is the solution to those concerns as this is loaded with Blue Phyto Complex (BRTC proprietary cocktail that includes lavender, centaurea cyanus flower, borage, chamomile, hyacinth and clary sage to hydrates skin) and Multi-Vital Force (BRTC proprietary ingredient to make skin healthy and glowing) while having a light gel texture that's easily absorbed. It's also got lots of tiny vitamin spheres inside to help nourish skin and give it an amazing glow.

For those with oily skin, the BRTC Vitamin H Velvet Mask (Php120 per sheet) will help to manage pores and soothe irritated skin thanks to tea tree leaf extract, burnet root extract, and ginger extract. This, of course, contains Vitamin H, which is aimed at relieving skin. For those with allergy concerns, this is also a great find as it's certified hypoallergenic.

There's BRTC Vitamin F Velvet Mask (Php120 per sheet) for those who have oil and moisture balance problems (LIKE ME!!!). My skin type is dehydrated oily, which is why if I don't take care of the dehydration part, what happens is my makeup cakes but also is patchy at the same time. I like to look for products that target dehydration. To explain further, dehydrated means your skin has oil but lacks water. Dry means your skin lacks both oil and water. Finding products to help with moisture without exacerbating the oiliness is key in this situation.

While the first thing we think about Vitamin A is better eyesight and carrots, BRTC Vitamin A Velvet Mask (Php120 per sheet) harnesses Vitamin A and collagen to help lift the skin. This is targeted for inelastic, depleted, and damaged skin, especially those with wrinkle problems. This has Vitamin A sourced from carrots, pumpkin, and other natural plant derivatives. This also has adenosine to help improve skin condition.

BRTC is available at select Watsons branches (SM Cubao, SM Mall Of Asia, SM Manila, SM Megamall, SM Southmall, SM Sucat), and the mask sheets are also stocked at PCX Stores, Landmark Department Store, and Metro Gaisano Department Stores. Follow them on Instagram
