K-Palette Lasting Lip Tint Semi-Matte is the matte version of the brand’s 1 Day Tattoo Tint series that aims to combine skincare and lip tint into one tube. These tints are designed to be matte but never drying, and are enriched with various moisturizers to keep lips supple whilst having a chic matte finish. This review is for the shade Rose Pink.

Overall Feedback:

K-Palette Lasting Lip Tint Semi-Matte is a forgiving tint for those who have dry lips. It is enriched with 3 types of beauty oils to retain moisture in the lips. It promises to give a luxurious matte finish without a drying feel.

In terms of texture, this has a mousse formulation. It glides on with an creamy feel but comes with a matte appearance. It feels powdery, is emollient, and feels balm-like on the lips. I love how this feels so comfortable and nourishing that I don’t need to use lip balm at all with this product. This is already lip balm and lip tint rolled into one given its formulation. Due to its texture, it does a pretty good job smoothing over dry patches and blurring wrinkly portions of the lips.

There is absolutely no sticky feel, making it ideal for our humid weather. However, it moves around a lot and transfers a lot, making it fade sooner than one would wish. One would need to reapply every few hours or so, as it is expected to fade, more so if you eat drink, or talk a lot in a certain period of time. The good thing though is that since this is an MLBB shade, the fading is not too conspicuous as it happens, not unless the wearer’s natural lips have discolorations.

The color pigmentation is intense, and the color payoff is also true to what’s in the tube. The two shades they have for this release are practical, wearable, and universally flattering. I can see myself wearing this to school, work, church, or even on special occasions. I also like that these two shades will work especially well on Filipina skin tones due to the mauve and rosy undertones.

At Php795 for what seems to be more than 10g, it’s a practical purchase if you happen to still see it in stores. Like all other K-Palette products, this is expectedly practical, functional, and impressive. Plus with good value for money. This is definitely a good buy, especially if you have dry lips like me.
