The title says it all! Whip your way to brighter skin with Love K-Glow! Love K-Glow is a relatively new entrant as far as I know, and I think they started just this year. But this new market entrant is already widening its offerings and has also dived into the whip soap market. If I remember correctly, whip soaps became a hot trend in 206-2017 or so, when Thai soaps were being resold here. Eventually, we saw a lot of Thai brands enter the Philippine market. Fast forward to the present, whip soaps have become an irreplaceable portion of a lot of Filipinos’ skincare routines. I guess it stems from the Filipino tradition of using bar soaps, but elevating that bar soap usage experience up a notch. I have been using facial foams for as far back as I can remember, but as someone who believes the Japanese philosophy of cleansing the face with foam, whip soaps have also become a familiar item in my routine.
Love K Derma has several beauty tool releases and skincare products to complement the tools they sell, so I guess this is why they named this skincare subsidiary as Love K Glow instead. Love K Glow has a body cream and body scrub aside from their collagen soaps.
As for Love K Glow’s Collagen Bright Whitening Soaps, these are formulated with collagen (of course) to make skin more supple as well as alpha-arbutin and kojic acid to whiten the skin. These soaps also contain salicylic acid to exfoliate the skin as well as tea tree oil to help reduce acne. Love K Glow Collagen Bright Whitening Soaps are targeted to make skin more radiant in as little as five days by correcting dark spots evening and the skin tone. These soaps were made to mimic the effect of LED light masks which have been all the rage as of late to make skin more supple. These soaps are sold in singles, duos, and trios. The singles are Php99 each, while duo packs are Php129 each.
Love K-Glow Triple Pack is Php189. Indeed, you get to save more when you buy more because, from Php99, each bar becomes Php64.5 if you buy the duo pack, and each bar becomes Php63 if you buy the trio pack! I recommend just buying 1 bar if you want to try it out, but if you do end up liking it, be sure to buy the trio packs from then on to get the most value for your money.
This is how the bar looks like in the pouch. The key thing about Love K Glow is that their pouches have these pink stoppers. The material is like silicone as it’s soft but firm at the same time. A lot of times, soaps in mesh pouches slip out because the string gets loosened easily. Or one isn’t able to get a good lather because of having to rub the pouch so gently in hoping that the soap won’t slip out. I like how they took note of this little detail that inconveniences a lot of whip soap users!
And this is how an Oppadilla photocard looks like. There are several styles of cards, so this might not exactly be what you’ll end up getting. But for Kathniel and Daniel fans out there, I’m sure this will be a great addition to your merch collections!
Love K-Glow is available at Watsons stores, Watsons Online, and through
