Heroine Make Eyelash Curler Review

It’s about time! Weeeell, I don’t think there’s a streamlined way to review eyelash curlers, but I thought I’d share my thoughts and experiences on using Heroine Make’s eyelash curler. Their eyelash curler is also extremely popular in Japan, sharing the pie with KOJI, CanMake, Shiseido, and Shu Uemura. I thought I’d review this because this is not the top-of-mind HG eyelash curler, even though it’s actually quite good.

The packaging is really bulky, which I know is good and bad at the same time.

Product benefits are as follow:

-Flat edges (vs. rounded edges) for a snug fit on the corners of the eyes

-Perfect 36mm wide curve to follow the contours of the eye and therefore allow a good curl

-Thick handles for easy handling

Perhaps this is special because of the pink band. Even amongst all my other eyelash curlers, this stands out coz it’s so cute!

As seen here, if you will look at the edges of both sides, there are two flat baby buttons. The sides are flat in order to give a snug fit.

The handles are also thick as promised, although I don’t really feel a significant increase in ease of usage.

This is a reaaally good dupe for Shu Uemura eyelash curlers, as the widths and curvatures are reaaally similar! Both of them have a good fit, especially on Asian eyes.

I dunno how to put it into words, but the fit is really flat and snug. It really sits flat on your eye, so it’s easy to get a good curl. It’s also comfy to use.

And this is after both sides of eyelashes are curled. The effect is super pretty. It’s possible to use just clear mascara with this eyelash curler as it’s so effective in curling the lashes! Altho TBF Heroine Make is most famous for its invincible mascara mehehe…

This eyelash curler may not be the top of mind eyelash curler, but definitely, do give this a try. In Japan, I know it’s doing well, but in international circles, it’s a bit underrated, if you ask me. It’s more or less just Php550-600 depending on where you buy, so the value for money is really good!
