Overall Feedback:
BlackRouge Color Lock Heart Tint obviously got me with the cute packaging! I redesigned my blog logo to be inspired by candy hearts, so yeah it was quite certain that I would be enamored by the packaging of this tint. I also like that it has a lovely sweet citrus fragrance, like the smell of lemon cake or something to that effect. The colors of this collection are also really bright and cheery, but I decided to buy this shade first as it was the coral pink one. I already have quite a lot of BlackRouge reds, so I wanted something really pink from this collection.

The texture is like other BlackRouge tints, with a distinct velvety tint texture. It goes on smoothly, has no snags, and works like a dream. I have very dry lips, and thus far, everything I've gotten from BlackRouge has worked well on me despite my dry lips. The formulations feel hydrating, have a very comfortable texture, and visually don't emphasize dry cracks. Their tints are mousse-like and with a powdery matte finish, but do not feel rough like how some powdery matte offerings in the market feel like.

BlackRouge employed a gel oil technology on this one, which I think reflected well in my own wear tests. Among my BlackRouge mousse tints, this lasts the longest. There's not much difference in texture (this is a bit heavier and a bit more powdery), but it really lasts longer and transfers much less. It doesn't move much, and even when I drink water so often, my mugs don't end up with lipstick stains. There are days when it doesn't last long, and I have to reapply several times. But I'm so thankful that there are pretty tints that come in comfortable and luxurious textures like this.

I love BlackRouge as a brand overall, and this is yet another purchase which I think was worth my money. I use all my BlackRouge tints all the time, and I think that's the ultimate mark of value for money as I really am getting the most of my tints. I find all the tints useful for all sorts of occasions, and this new tint is another welcome addition to my collection.
