Since the pandemic started, I have rarely been leaving the house. I’m at home like 98% of the time, so any task that can be done at home is a big convenience!!! Was really glad to know that Watsons is now on GrabMart. While you can access Watsons online through their stores or visit a shop nearby, this adds an additional layer of convenience for us as we can now have Watsons essentials within the timeframe of our order without needing to schedule an outing! No need to wait for days or weeks. In this era, wherein a lot of people are being treated at home for COVID, this is a big help to those who cannot leave the house due to quarantine restrictions.
It’s really simple to order from them. Just open your Grab App and type in Watsons, and the nearest ones will be suggested to you. Just like any GrabFood or GrabMart transaction, simply choose the branch most convenient to you, add items to basket, and check out!
The selection will vary from branch to branch, and do not expect the GrabMart version to have every single makeup item and mask sheet you need in life, but they have rounded up the most frequently sought essentials from their store into GrabMart. There are medicines, vitamins, supplements, personal care products (haircare, bodycare, oral care), as well as Watsons brand shower essentials that most of us stock in our homes.
Just to add, here are the other Watsons highlights you can find on GrabMart!!!
FRESH has their Peach Mango Alcospray, Lemon Aloe toothpaste, and Jeju Aloe Ice on GrabMart. I’ve also seen their Tomato Gel Lotion in the branch near me, but I don’t see the Alcospray. Again, the specifics of some brands being stocked in a Watsons branch differ from store to store, so check your app!!
For all those aches and itches, there are also Tiger Balm White and Tiger Balm Red ointments in the app. This is also sold in the branch near me. I’ll be honest that we have never used Tiger Balm in our household ever as my dad is a fan of a rival ointment, but with so many mosquitoes plaguing us, this will come in handy for the coming weeks. Because of this, I actually had to Google and learn Tiger Balm White has menthol and methyl salicylate while Tiger Balm Red has menthol and camphor. Just a disclaimer, these are the Php28 travel-size versions of the ointment, so you might need to order more than one if you’re hurting a lot in your life (naks hugot).
They do have an extensive array of supplements and over-the-counter medicines, which I think is really important for COVID patients. Most COVID cases are treated at home due to the scarcity of hospital beds, so it’s important for patients to have easy access to cough, colds, LBM, and stomach acidity over-the-counter medicines. These are usually what the doctors will prescribe for home care aside from antibiotics like Azithromycin and antivirals like Remdesivir. COVID patients will also usually need lozenges and medicated mouthwash, so it’s great that these are on the app. To add, COVID patients are also put on Vitamin B Complex, Vitamin C + Zinc, and Vitamin D in these times of COVID, it doesn’t hurt to take these supplements as we need them anyway.
I was positively impressed by the very extensive choices they have for supplements! I would have never known that there’s actually a collagen + Vitamin C combo vitamin had I not received this one from Nutrabliss. Sadly, this particular product is not available through my GrabMart app, but I remember seeing this recently when I visited a store. As for the app, I’ve seen collagen from Watsons brand, Belo and IVI Premium, so those can be your choices if you’re taking collagen like me.
So there you have it! I’m really happy about this development as our COVID cases are rising and rising and so many people need to medicate at home. I’ve heard many stories about how difficult it is to manage COVID sufferers at home, so this is one way to make a difficult situation a little less inconvenient.
